A LITTLE MORE TO KNOW.
Notate is a native Markdown notes app being built for Mac, iPad and iPhone. It brings writing, everyday capture and connected ideas together, with standard Markdown files at its heart.
Your regular notes live in the library folder you choose as standard UTF-8 Markdown (.md) files. You can open them in other compatible apps. Notate’s indexes and caches can be rebuilt from those files.
Yes. Writing, browsing and saving your notes work offline. Any synchronisation depends on the folder or file provider you use. Optional external AI services need an internet connection.

Notate is currently in development for macOS 26, iPadOS 26 and iOS 26 or later. Download details, pricing and a release date have not been announced yet.
